DESCRIPTION:\nDo you enjoy art and the outdoors? Or are you just looking for a peaceful activity to de-stress during midterms and enjoy the beauty of our campus? Then\, this event is perfect for you.\n\n\n\nJoin Arboretum Intern and third-year Master’s of Landscape Architecture student Erica Scott for a casual sketch walk in the Arboretum. Participants will enjoy stopping to sketch at a few stops\, focusing on different details at each stop. This is not a tutorial class on how to draw\, rather a relaxed atmosphere for those wishing to step outside\, breathe some fresh air\, and experiment with sketching in a low-stakes environment. Bring materials you enjoy doodling with\, be it a pen and paper\, colored pencils\, markers\, pastels\, or an iPad! Weather dependent.\n\n\n\nGet creative and enjoy the trees of WashU through art! No prior botanical knowledge necessary. This event is free and open to the public.\n\n\n\n\nLearn more and register\n\n
