Hosted at the Missouri History Museum and sponsored by Washington University in St. Louis, this free weekly series invites families and community members to explore the vibrant culture and history of St. Louis. Each Thursday evening begins at 5 p.m. with children’s activities, local food and drink, and interactive exhibits, followed by featured programming such as panel discussions, films, and live performances. Recent highlights include a screening of The American Revolution with commentary by local scholars and university faculty, and hands-on experiences led by WashU student groups engaging visitors in topics ranging from meteorites to biodiversity. Through this collaboration, WashU’s “In St. Louis, For St. Louis” initiative deepens connections between the campus and the broader community, reaffirming both institutions’ longstanding commitment to education, access, and civic engagement.
