Tara Ferguson serves as Assistant Director of Community Engagement for the “In St. Louis For St. Louis” initiative at Washington University in St. Louis. In her role, Tara works collaboratively with community organizations and university partners to build connections, align resources, and advance mutually beneficial engagement.
Prior to relocating to St. Louis, Tara held roles in workforce development and career coaching, including serving as a Transition Counselor for the Department of the Army’s Transition Assistance Program. She also brings extensive experience as an executive administrative assistant, supporting senior leadership and complex organizational operations. Tara holds a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Western Kentucky University. Her leadership and service have been recognized through her designation as a Kentucky Colonel.
