Did you know that spending just 20 minutes in nature could support a decrease in stress hormones? What better way is there to celebrate WashU’s Mindfulness Month this October than finding peace and reflection amidst the trees?
The Buder Center and WashU Arboretum are teaming up to hold a contemplative dialogue and reflection in the Butterfly Garden, exploring attendees relationship with the grounds. There will be discussion on the purpose and value of the trees in these locations to their environment.
No prior botanical knowledge necessary. This event is free and open to the public. Parking is available in the Danforth University Center garage.
