WashU is proud to present Thursday Nights at the Museum, a weekly series featuring thought-provoking programming, extended museum hours, and activities.

On January 11, 1865, the delegates of the Missouri state convention passed the immediate emancipation of all enslaved persons. Join the Missouri History Museum for a short presentation about the history of Missouri emancipation, followed by a conversation with representatives from St. Louis area sites that are part of the National Underground Railroad Network to Freedom.
