Join WashU’s EnviroCorps team and Forest ReLeaf’s ForestKeeper Network to map tree stumps and other storm damage in Ivory Perry Park, which is a green space that was heavily impacted by the May 16th St. Louis tornado. During this event, volunteers will be asked to document and measure the diameter of tree stumps through an ArcGIS survey tool. Lunch will be provided, so please mention on the Eventbrite registration (link below) any dietary restrictions. After lunch, from 12 pm to 1 pm, volunteers will caravan to tour the Lumber Logs site to learn more about urban wood reutilization and how the fallen trees from Ivory Perry park are being given a second life.

All volunteers should come prepared with a water bottle and a personal cell phone device with location services enabled. This event is free and open to the public.
