The Center for Community Health Partnership & Research at the Institute for Public Health and Institute of Clinical & Translational Sciences presents a summer installment of our Collaborative Café series—Highlighting WashU Community Advisory Boards.

Attendees will hear from community advisory boards (CABs) within WashU. Faculty of newly started CABs will discuss why those chose to build a board, their process for finding members and planning board operations, and reflect on the process so far and goals for the future. A member of the long-standing Institute for Public Health and Institute of Clinical & Translational Sciences CAB will discuss their experience joining an established board, including lessons learned for other CABs. The event will end with time for open discussion between panelists and participants.
