This year’s symposium will focus on the role of private enterprise and investment in driving American prosperity. The Olin School of Business is excited to have an incredible lineup of speakers who will look at this issue through a national, regional, and individual lens:

American Dynamism with David Ulevitch: David leads the American Dynamism practice at Andreessen Horowitz, investing in national security, aerospace, logistics, and more. He will illuminate the national investment landscape and what it takes to rebuild America’s technological and industrial base.

Regional Ecosystems with Elliott Kellner, Mark Munsell, and Nadia Shakoor: Regional leaders from Taylor Geospatial, GeoSTL, and the Danforth Plant Science Center will discuss their work to solidify the St. Louis region as a global geospatial tech hub, with implications for family and private enterprise in agriculture, defense, and logistics.

Economic Opportunity with Ryan Rippel: Ryan leads NextLadder Ventures, a $1 billion fund committed to ensuring that technology serves those who need it most. He’ll zoom in on the individual experience of economic prosperity as well as the role of early stage investment in ensuring that prosperity is broadly shared.
