Buenos Aires Modern, 1935–1950 is the first exhibition in the United States to examine the inventive activities of a thriving, cross-disciplinary artistic community of locals, exiles and immigrants living in Argentina’s capital during the early twentieth century. Exploring this vibrant creative laboratory, the exhibition traces how modernism was not merely adopted but actively transformed in Buenos Aires.
Carolina Caycedo: Growing Deep Roots is a solo exhibition of new and recent work by the Los Angeles–based Colombian artist. Drawing on environmental justice frameworks, traditional knowledge systems, and ecofeminism, Caycedo’s multidisciplinary artistic practice challenges viewers to understand nature not as a resource to be exploited, but as a living entity to which we are deeply accountable.
Free and open to the public.
