Science Center Up Late returns with a new installment: Experience Sound! From music to nature, this event will explore the science and technology behind sound and music. Featuring a range of experiences throughout the entire Science Center campus! Scientists, musicians, and engineers will be on hand to discuss all things sound and you can enjoy countless of other hands-on activities.
WashU participants include:
- Ream Al-Hasani, PhD, Associate Professor, Department of Anesthesiology, WashU. Expertise: Understanding how opioids in the brain are altered in addiction
- Jordan McCall, Assistant Professor, Department of Anesthesiology, WashU
- Megan Dickson, Assistant Lab Technician at Washington University in St. Louis – Astrophysics and dark matter
Unique cocktails, non-alcoholic beverages and snacks will be available for purchase at our cafe, second floor loft outside of the OMNIMAX® Theater, and throughout the building.
