What do my partners and I already know, and still need to learn, to successfully do research together? Through a moderated panel and group discussion, participants will explore what researchers need to understand about working with community, what community partners should know about conducting research and working within university structures, and how new community-academic partnerships can set up for long-term success.
The Center for Community Health Partnership & Research (CCHPR) at the Institute of Clinical & Translational Sciences brings together community members and academic audiences for an informal, discussion-based Collaborative Café. Cafés offer opportunities for researchers, community partners, and others interested in community-engaged research to network, share experiences, and learn from each other about community-engaged research.
This event is open to all. Registration is highly encouraged.
