Join WashU’s School of Public Health on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, for Disease Ecology on a Changing Planet, featuring keynote talks by two internationally recognized leaders in planetary and public health:
- Dr. Felicia Keesing – Bard College ecologist and leading scholar on how biodiversity influences the spread of infectious diseases.
- Dr. Neil Vora – Senior Advisor at Conservation International, executive director of the Preventing Pandemics at the Source coalition, and a former CDC epidemiologist whose work bridges public health, environmental conservation, and climate action.
This free, half-day convening will bring together researchers, practitioners, and community leaders to explore how environmental change is reshaping disease dynamics across humans, animals, and ecosystems, and how we can translate research into real-world solutions. Join us in person at Washington University’s Clark-Fox Forum and online via Zoom.
