From November 1 through December 20, Washington University in St. Louis will coordinate a food drive to help respond to the growing food crisis in our region and support neighbors in need.

Donation Sites for the WashU Community

Across WashU’s campuses, there will be donation sites to leave shelf-stable items. The “In St. Louis, For St. Louis” Initiative team will coordinate weekly pick-ups from the sites to food banks across St. Louis.

WashU Community Engagement Office (Delmar DiviNe)
Items can be dropped off at 5501 Delmar Boulevard (A100) during business hours, Monday – Thursday (8:30 am – 4:00 pm).

Gephardt Institute for Civic and Community Engagement
Items can be dropped off at Stix House–6470 Forsyth Boulevard during business hours, Monday – Friday (8:30 am – 5:00 pm).

Sumers Welcome Center
Items can be dropped off at G/P1 (lower level adjacent to parking garage) of Sumers Welcome Center – 1 Wrighton Way, St. Louis, MO 63105 during business hours, Monday – Friday (8:30 am – 4:30 pm).

WashU Police Department
Items can be dropped off at the police department lobby – 6615 Shepley Dr., St. Louis, MO 63105, Monday – Saturday (8:00 am – 6:00 pm).

276 N. Skinker – University MarCom
Items can be dropped off in the 1st floor lobby with the security guard. – 276 N. Skinker Blvd 63130, Monday – Thursday (8:30am – 5:00pm).

Brown School (Goldfarb Hall)
Items can be dropped off in the Goldfarb Commons (Level 1) Monday – Friday between 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

McKelvey School of Engineering (Brauer Hall)
Items can be dropped off in the Brauer Hall Lobby (1st floor), Monday – Friday (8:30 am – 5:00 pm).

Olin Business School (Simon Hall or Knight/Bauer Hall Atrium)
Items can be dropped off on the Simon Hall 1st floor (near 118) or Knight /Baur Hall Atrium 3rd floor (near 310) Monday – Friday (7:00 am – 7:00 pm)

WashU School of Public Health (Cortex Commons)
Items can be dropped off at 4300 Duncan Avenue, 3rd Floor during business hours, Monday – Friday (8:30 am – 4:30 pm).

WashU Medicine Marketing and Communications
Items can be dropped off at 1234 S. Kingshighway Blvd. St. Louis, MO 63110 in Suite 1600 during business hours, Monday-Friday (8:00 am- 5:00 pm). WashU Medicine Marketing and Communications

In the wake of the growing food need, many in our community are asking how to help—or where to turn for help. Local area food banks are maintaining resource sites featuring food access information, community meal programs, and ways to support neighbors in need.
