WashU is proud to present Thursday Nights at the Museum, a weekly series featuring thought-provoking programming, extended museum hours, and activities.

This nostalgic one-act play transports audiences to the vibrant comedy scene of 1950s–1960s St. Louis. Stella Fella and Danny Dame, a comedy duo reminiscent of the era’s greats, are faced with a choice: pursue Hollywood fame or remain loyal to their roots in Gaslight Square. As they grapple with this decision, their journey explores themes of friendship, ambition, and the true meaning of success. Will they chase the spotlight of Tinseltown or find fulfillment closer to home? Featuring reprisals of classic comedy bits by Nichols & May and Stiller & Meara.
